so yesterday was pop. i have a lot to say. this past year has been a hell of a roller coaster ride for nike. but we've got through it all and we owe it to 3 very, very special people, that will always be in our hearts. ma'am cheryl, ma'am jazlyn and ma'am wileen.

ma'am cheryl:

let me be honest. i used to not like you last year, when you first became our nco. in fact, i used to not like you a lot. i thought that you were unreasonable and such as you were always the one who scolds us and stuff. but people change, and feelings change, and during the past year, i see the other side of you. the funny side - with your endless jokes and other things that never failed to crack us up. i swear you have the most amusing blog ever. the emotional side - the other time, after ac, when you cried, we now that we had disappointed you so much, we felt really guilty. after that, we tried all that we can to not disappoint you again. these made me realise that you really care for us and all the scoldings were for our own good. you wanted us to improve as a squad and you want us to prove to the others that we are not weak and we will excel some day. thank you for all the scoldings the past year. i really mean it. it has made us learn and we had grown stronger, physically and mentally, because of that. we would not have been here today if you had not sacrificed all your time, training us, in all ways possible, to help us improve. thank you ma'am cheryl, for all that you have done for us. i really appreciate it.

ma'am jazlyn:

i first known you during the marathon. i ran the lap with you. (okay, not exactly. you ran so fast. ) but then, i thought you were very friendly and i never thought that you would be our nco. thanks for caring for us the past year. thanks for giving us never ending support when we needed it so much. i will never forget all the coupons that i spent on buying drinks at 4a's stall during cedar fiesta. i will never forget all the times i laughed at you cause you did something funny. i will never forget all the extra trainings that we had just so i can practise to tie the sheet bend in record time. thanks for being very patient with me and for answering my never-ending questions about this or that. to be frank, i was really shocked when i got to know that i was to be the head of logistics, taking over your duties. i didn't know if i can handle everything. i still have a lot to learn and i hope that you would be able to help me when i'm in doubt. i will try my best in what i do so as to not disappoint. thank you ma'am jazlyn, for all that you have done for us. i really appreciate it.

ma'am wileen:

my first impression of you - you are very quiet, like seriously. but even so, i know you had done a lot for us. all the admin stuff and such. and i know you really cared for us a lot. your smiles never fails to brighten our day and your words of encouragements lifted our moods when we were feeling down. thank you for being very patient with us and helping us in any way that you can. thank you ma'am wileen, for all that you have done for us. i really appreciate it.

the day, you became our ncos, we know that we had given you a lot of problems to handle. we know that we had been a very problematic bunch of people. the 3 of you had a choice to give up on us, but you hadn't. and i'm glad you didn't. we have improved tremendously under the 3 of you. improvements that we thought were impossible and out of reach. thank you for always being there for us and never giving up on us even when everybody else does. i will never forget all the things that you have done for us, regardless big or small. i will never forget all the memories that we've had with the 3 of you. and i will never forget the sacrifices that you have made just for us. the 3 of you had been the best ncos that we've ever had, and we ever will have.
